| ANITEC supplies entire solutions for blood collection, processing, storing and/or freezing/drying. Our equipment fulfils all present EU and USDA veterinary and hygienic demands.
Our equipment ranges from 60 to 1000 pigs per hour or 20 to 400 cattle per hour. From every animal, we can hygienically collect about 85% of it's blood. The blood can be used in food products, but the value of it can be increased much further, by separating the blood into plasma and haemoglobin. For example, 10 000 litres of hygienically collected blood equals 6 000 litres of plasma and 4 000 litres of haemoglobin.
Blood plasma is a superior food ingredient potentially providing:
- Increased water content
- Increased protein content
- Improved sensoric values (taste, juice, texture and bite)
- Better binding of MDM (Mechanically de-boned meat)
Blood plasma has potential to replace many other protein additives giving the user:
- Soy-free labelled products (non-allergenic)
- GMO free additive
- Improved economy

The haemoglobin is possible to use as a food additive in special blood products, and is also a very nutritious additive for pet-food, piglet, mink, fish and chicken.
